  • 1/4 cup Black Beans (cooked and rinsed)
  • 1/4 cup Red Bell Pepper (diced)
  • 4 oz Pre-Cooked Shredded Chicken Breast
  • 1 cup Spring Mix or Romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Crispy Fried Onions

Instructions:

  1. Place the BBQ sauce (Layer 1) at the bottom of the mason jar to act as the primary moisture barrier.
  2. Add the dense absorbents: rinsed black beans and diced red bell pepper (Layer 2) directly above the sauce. These ingredients can handle direct contact with the dressing.
  3. Layer the pre-cooked shredded chicken (Layer 3), ensuring it sits insulated from the sauce by the previous layers.
  4. Add the crispy fried onions (or similar crunchy element) next (Layer 4). This hard layer protects the delicate greens.
  5. Fill the remainder of the jar with the spring mix or lettuce (Layer 5). Seal the jar tightly.
  6. To serve, shake the jar vigorously until all ingredients are combined, or empty the contents into a bowl.
