Ingredients:

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels, granulated sugar, and melted butter.
  2. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
  4. Spread evenly over the cooled crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Let the mixture cool until it thickens slightly.
  6. Fold in sliced strawberries. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  8. Cut into squares and enjoy this delightful dessert!
