Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs party wings (flats and drums)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Pat 2 lbs party wings dry with paper towels until no moisture remains on the skin.
  3. Combine cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Toss wings in the spice mixture. Ensure every nook and cranny is lightly coated.
  5. Set a wire rack over a large baking sheet.
  6. Arrange wings in a single layer until they are not touching each other.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Flip wings using tongs.
  9. Bake 25 mins more until skin is golden brown and bubbling.
  10. Rest 5 minutes until the crust hardens and stabilizes.
