Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.5g) kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon (0.75g) black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.5g) garlic powder (optional)
Instructions:
- Rinse and trim the green beans. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 8 minutes.
- Remove the basket and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans.
- Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for another 2-4 minutes, or until the green beans are tender-crisp and the parmesan is melted and slightly golden brown. Watch carefully to avoid burning the cheese.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
