Ingredients:
- 1 package Kraft Deluxe Mac and Cheese (2.8 oz; 80g)
- 2 cups (480 ml) water
- 2 tbsp (30g) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp (5g) dried oregano
- 1 tsp (5g) dried thyme
- 1/4 cup (25g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional for extra cheesiness)
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.
- Once the water is boiling, add the macaroni from the Kraft Deluxe Mac and Cheese package. Cook according to the package instructions until tender (about 7-8 minutes).
- While the pasta cooks, in a separate pot, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Stir in the milk, oregano, and thyme. Cook for 1-2 minutes until warmed.
- Drain the cooked macaroni and return it to the saucepan. Add the cheese sauce from the box and the gourmet sauce mixture. Stir until well combined and heated through.
- (Optional) Stir in additional shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Spoon the mac and cheese into serving bowls and enjoy!
