Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) Water or Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup (30 g) Farina (Cream of Wheat)
- 1 tablespoon (14 g) Unsalted Butter (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar or Honey or Maple Syrup
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, bring water or milk to a simmer over medium heat.
- Slowly whisk in the farina, ensuring no lumps form.
- Reduce heat to low. Add salt and butter (if using). Simmer, stirring frequently, until the farina thickens and reaches your desired consistency (about 5-7 minutes).
- Stir in your chosen sweetener (sugar, honey, maple syrup). Taste and adjust to your preference.
- Pour the farina into a serving bowl. Top with your favourite toppings and enjoy immediately.
- Clean.
