Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) Water or Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) Farina (Cream of Wheat)
  • 1 tablespoon (14 g) Unsalted Butter (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar or Honey or Maple Syrup

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, bring water or milk to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Slowly whisk in the farina, ensuring no lumps form.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Add salt and butter (if using). Simmer, stirring frequently, until the farina thickens and reaches your desired consistency (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in your chosen sweetener (sugar, honey, maple syrup). Taste and adjust to your preference.
  5. Pour the farina into a serving bowl. Top with your favourite toppings and enjoy immediately.
  6. Clean.
