Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs (900g) seedless grapes (mix of red and green)
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (120 ml) sour cream
  • ½ cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup (70g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (60g) chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) packed light brown sugar

Instructions:

  1. Thoroughly wash and dry the grapes. Halve any particularly large grapes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Beat until well combined and smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
  4. Gently fold the grapes into the cream cheese dressing until they are evenly coated.
  5. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Longer chilling (up to a few hours) is even better!
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle the chopped pecans (or walnuts) and brown sugar evenly over the top of the salad. Enjoy this perfect grape salad recipe!
