Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk until just combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit batter over the chicken mixture, covering it as evenly as possible.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the biscuits comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
