Ingredients:

  • 1 large frozen banana (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup (120g) cottage cheese (4% or 2%)
  • 2 tablespoons (32g) natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 scoop (approx. 25g) vanilla protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 3-4 ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place all liquid ingredients into the blender jar first (Milk, then Peanut Butter).
  2. Add the Cottage Cheese, Protein Powder, and Chia/Flax Seeds next.
  3. Finally, add the Frozen Banana slices and any optional Ice Cubes or Sweetener on top.
  4. Start blending on a low speed to incorporate the ingredients, then quickly ramp up to high speed.
  5. Blend continuously until the mixture is completely smooth and thick. If the mixture is too thick to move, add milk one tablespoon at a time until the blades move freely.
  6. Serve immediately in a tall glass.
