Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 9 oz cheese tortellini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • span¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)/span
  • span1 cup heavy cream/span
  • span½ cup chicken broth/span
  • span½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated/span
  • spanFresh basil or parsley for garnish/span

Instructions:

  1. Add the thinly sliced chicken breasts to the skillet; cook until golden brown on both sides (about 4–5 minutes per side). Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Return the cooked chicken to your creamy sauce mixture in the skillet; stir well to combine.
  3. Add your drained tortellini into the skillet; toss gently until everything is coated in sauce.
  4. Garnish your dish with fresh basil or parsley along with extra Parmesan before serving.
