Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef or ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for frying
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
- Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Form mixture into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the meatballs in batches and cook until browned on all sides (approximately 6–8 minutes). Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet used for meatballs melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream; bring to a gentle simmer while stirring continuously.
- Gradually whisk in grated Parmesan cheese until smooth; season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return cooked meatballs to the skillet with Alfredo sauce; gently stir to coat each meatball evenly with sauce.
