Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (60 ml) bourbon whiskey
  • 3/4 oz (22 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz (15 ml) simple syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon wheel or cherry

Instructions:

  1. Juice fresh lemons and measure out whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice about halfway.
  3. Pour whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup over the ice.
  4. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well-chilled and slightly frothy.
  5. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice or into a chilled coupe glass.
  6. Add a lemon wheel or cherry for garnish.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing whiskey sour.
