Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60 ml) bourbon whiskey
- 3/4 oz (22 ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) simple syrup
- Ice cubes
- Lemon wheel or cherry
Instructions:
- Juice fresh lemons and measure out whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
- Fill the shaker with ice about halfway.
- Pour whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup over the ice.
- Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well-chilled and slightly frothy.
- Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice or into a chilled coupe glass.
- Add a lemon wheel or cherry for garnish.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing whiskey sour.
