Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ginger ale
  • 1.5 tbsp grenadine syrup
  • 0.5 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 3 maraschino cherries
  • 1 lemon wheel

Instructions:

  1. Fill a highball glass to the brim with ice to ensure the ingredients stay carbonated and chilled.
  2. Pour the chilled ginger ale and fresh lemon juice over the ice, leaving about an inch of space at the top of the glass.
  3. Slowly pour the grenadine directly into the center of the glass, allowing it to sink and create a gradient effect.
  4. Give the drink one very gentle stir with a bar spoon to lightly incorporate without dissipating the carbonation.
  5. Garnish with maraschino cherries and a thin lemon wheel before serving.
