Ingredients:
- 20 fresh mint leaves (approximately 10 grams)
- 1 medium lime, cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (30 grams)
- 4 ounces white rum (120 ml)
- 1 cup soda water (250 ml)
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Place the mint leaves and lime wedges in a sturdy glass. Add the sugar and gently muddle them together to release the mint oils and lime juice.
- Pour the white rum into the muddled mixture, stirring gently to combine.
- Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes, then top it up with soda water. Stir gently to blend the flavors.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge. Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
