Ingredients:

  • 20 fresh mint leaves (approximately 10 grams)
  • 1 medium lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (30 grams)
  • 4 ounces white rum (120 ml)
  • 1 cup soda water (250 ml)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Place the mint leaves and lime wedges in a sturdy glass. Add the sugar and gently muddle them together to release the mint oils and lime juice.
  2. Pour the white rum into the muddled mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  3. Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes, then top it up with soda water. Stir gently to blend the flavors.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge. Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
