Ingredients:
- 1 ½ oz (45 ml) hot whisky (preferably a blended Scotch or Irish whisky)
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey (raw or regular, based on preference)
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 6 oz (180 ml) hot water
- 1 slice of lemon, for garnish
- Optional: a pinch of ground cinnamon or a cinnamon stick for flavor
Instructions:
- Bring water to a rolling boil in a kettle or saucepan.
- In your heatproof mug, combine the whisky, honey, and lemon juice.
- Pour the hot water into the mug and stir until the honey is dissolved.
- Add a slice of lemon on top and optionally sprinkle with cinnamon or add a cinnamon stick.
- Serve immediately while hot.
