Ingredients:

  • 4 cups cornflake cereal (approx. 120g)
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows (283g)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (115g)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp green gel food coloring
  • 1/4 cup red cinnamon candies

Instructions:

  1. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper to prepare your workspace.
  2. In a large non-stick pot over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until the mixture is completely smooth and liquid.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat. Immediately stir in the vanilla extract and green gel food coloring until the color is vibrant and uniform.
  4. Gently fold the cornflakes into the marshmallow mixture using a silicone spatula, ensuring all flakes are coated without being crushed.
  5. Grease your hands with cooking spray or butter. Scoop a heaping 1/4 cup of the mixture onto the parchment paper and shape into a rounded ring with a hole in the center.
  6. While the wreaths are still tacky, press 3 red cinnamon candies onto each wreath in a small cluster to resemble holly berries.
  7. Allow the wreaths to sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes until they are firm and set.
