Ingredients:
- 4 cups cornflake cereal (approx. 120g)
- 10 oz mini marshmallows (283g)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (115g)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp green gel food coloring
- 1/4 cup red cinnamon candies
Instructions:
- Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper to prepare your workspace.
- In a large non-stick pot over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until the mixture is completely smooth and liquid.
- Remove the pot from the heat. Immediately stir in the vanilla extract and green gel food coloring until the color is vibrant and uniform.
- Gently fold the cornflakes into the marshmallow mixture using a silicone spatula, ensuring all flakes are coated without being crushed.
- Grease your hands with cooking spray or butter. Scoop a heaping 1/4 cup of the mixture onto the parchment paper and shape into a rounded ring with a hole in the center.
- While the wreaths are still tacky, press 3 red cinnamon candies onto each wreath in a small cluster to resemble holly berries.
- Allow the wreaths to sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes until they are firm and set.
