Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
- Optional: 1 tablespoon peanut butter or Nutella
Instructions:
- In the mug, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined – don't overmix!
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips (and any peanut butter/Nutella) until evenly distributed.
- Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through. Start with 1 minute and check. If the top looks wet, microwave for another 15-30 seconds. Be careful not to overcook – you want it fudgy!
- Let the mug cake cool for a minute or two before digging in.
