  • 2 tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 medium Frozen Banana (sliced)
  • 1–2 teaspoons Sweetener (Maple syrup, honey, or date syrup, to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 4–6 Ice Cubes (Optional)
  • Pinch of Sea Salt

Instructions:

  1. Ensure the banana is peeled, sliced, and frozen solid. This is crucial for the best texture.
  2. Load the blender by adding the liquid ingredients first: milk and vanilla extract.
  3. Next, add the cottage cheese, frozen banana slices, cocoa powder, sweetener, and the pinch of salt.
  4. Secure the lid and start blending on low speed, gradually increasing to high speed. Use the tamper (if available) to push ingredients toward the blades.
  5. Blend until completely smooth and no lumps of cottage cheese remain (this may take 60-90 seconds on high). If the mixture is too thick, add a splash (1-2 tablespoons) more milk and blend briefly again.
  6. Taste the smoothie. Add more sweetener if necessary and blend for a final 5 seconds to incorporate.
  7. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy immediately for the best texture.
