Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (90 g) mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) finely chopped nuts (e.g., pecans or walnuts)
  • Optional: Additional chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer or a whisk.
  2. Stir in vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated. Gently fold in mini chocolate chips.
  3. Using your hands, shape the cheese mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. On a plate, spread the chopped nuts evenly.
  5. Once chilled, unwrap the cheese ball and roll it into the nut mixture until fully coated. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with extra chocolate chips if desired.
