Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) pasta (penne, rotini, or your kid's favorite shape)
- 1 pound (450g) ground beef or Italian sausage, cooked and drained
- 1 (24 ounce/680g) jar marinara sauce
- 1 cup (240ml) water
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup (115g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (60g) shredded cheddar cheese
- Pepperoni slices, cooked mushrooms, bell peppers, black olives (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, cooked ground beef (or sausage), marinara sauce, water, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top.
- Add any desired toppings (pepperoni, vegetables).
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
