Ingredients:
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet or muffin tin with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed butter, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, parsley, olive oil, and garlic powder.
- Add the egg to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
- Using a spoon, scoop the mixture into the prepared baking sheet/muffin tin.
- Gently press a small amount of garlic mixture on top of each bite.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
