Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces (115g) sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
  • 2 ounces (55g) blue cheese, crumbled (like Stilton or Gorgonzola)
  • 1/4 cup (15g) fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup (100g) pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup (150g) Chutney of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Spread pecan halves on a baking sheet and toast in a preheated oven until fragrant and lightly browned.
  2. Roughly chop toasted pecans using a food processor or by hand.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add cheddar cheese, blue cheese, chives, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper.
  4. Mix all ingredients until well combined.
  5. Roll cheese mixture into small bite-sized balls.
  6. Place cheese balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour until firm.
  7. Roll each chilled cheese ball in the chopped pecans, pressing gently to adhere.
  8. Arrange Cheesy Chive Bomb Bites on a serving platter and serve with chutney.
