Ingredients:
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup crushed buttery crackers or breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, frozen vegetables, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers or breadcrumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle over the cheese layer.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
