Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the casserole dish: Grease with cooking spray or butter.
- Cook the broccoli: Steam or boil until bright green and tender, about 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, cooked broccoli, cream, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the chicken and broccoli mixture into the prepared casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, and dried parsley (if using).
- Evenly sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the chicken and broccoli mixture.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
