Ingredients:
- 240ml warm water (105°F-115°F)
- 7g active dry yeast
- 12g granulated sugar
- 400g all-purpose flour
- 30ml extra virgin olive oil
- 6g sea salt
- 56g unsalted butter, melted
- 3g garlic powder
- 1g dried oregano
- 1g dried parsley
- 200g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 45g grated parmesan cheese
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy and frothy.
- Add olive oil, salt, and 2 cups of flour. Gradually add remaining flour until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
- Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes until it is smooth, elastic, and slightly tacky.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 60 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and stretch it into a 10x14 inch rectangle on a prepared baking sheet.
- Whisk melted butter, garlic powder, oregano, and parsley. Brush the glaze generously over the dough.
- Spread the mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered dough.
- Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12–15 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let rest for 2 minutes, then use a pizza cutter to slice into long strips.
