Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3-4 tbsp ice water
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, mixing until dough forms.
- Shape into a disk, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced onion until translucent.
- Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Remove from heat.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and place it into the pie dish.
- Pour the beef mixture into the crust and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and milk, then pour over the filling.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
