Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (120ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  2. Add the dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes to the oil and vinegar mixture.
  3. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  4. Whisk all ingredients together until well combined.
  5. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes (or longer!) to allow the flavors to meld and deepen.
