Ingredients:

  • 2 pints Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 pound Bocconcini (small mozzarella balls)
  • 2 bunches Fresh Basil
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic Glaze
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (optional)
  • Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves. Drain the bocconcini and gently pat them dry with paper towels. If making your own balsamic glaze, do that now.
  2. Thread one cherry tomato, one bocconcini ball, and one basil leaf onto each skewer. Repeat the pattern until the skewer is almost full, aiming for a visually appealing arrangement.
  3. Place the assembled Caprese Skewers on a serving platter.
  4. Drizzle the skewers with balsamic glaze. If desired, lightly drizzle with extra virgin olive oil. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Serve the Caprese Skewers immediately for the best flavor and freshness.
