Ingredients:

  • 1 package (3 ounces/85g) Lemon Jell-O
  • 1 cup (240ml) boiling water
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) cold water
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Vodka (80 proof recommended) or White Rum
  • 1 package (3 ounces/85g) Orange Jell-O
  • 1 cup (240ml) boiling water
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) cold water
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Vodka (80 proof recommended) or White Rum
  • 1 package (3 ounces/85g) Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) cold milk (whole or 2% recommended)
  • 1 1/2 cups (360ml) boiling water
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Vodka (80 proof recommended) or White Rum

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve lemon Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in cold water and vodka. Pour evenly into shot glasses, filling about 1/3 of the way. Chill until set (approximately 1 hour).
  2. Repeat the process using orange Jell-O. Once the yellow layer is firm, carefully pour the orange Jell-O mixture on top, filling the glasses another 1/3 of the way. Chill until set (approximately 1 hour).
  3. Bloom the unflavored gelatin in the cold milk. Dissolve in boiling water. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and vodka. Let cool slightly.
  4. Once the orange layer is firm, carefully pour the white gelatin mixture on top to fill the shot glasses completely.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until all layers are completely set.
