Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (300g) shredded cooked chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Buffalo wing sauce
  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pack (12 count) King's Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 1/2 cups (170g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, fold together the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and softened cream cheese until the chicken is fully coated.
  2. Slice the entire pack of rolls in half horizontally to create one giant top and one giant bottom.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Layer the shredded mozzarella across the bottom buns, then spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the cheese.
  5. Place the remaining roll halves on top of the filling.
  6. Whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, and chopped parsley.
  7. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the top buns until fully saturated.
  8. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
