- 6 portions chicken breast
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Combine the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, and Dijon mustard in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is glossy and fully emulsified.
- Stir in the minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, smoked paprika, pepper, and red pepper flakes, whisking until dry spices are evenly distributed.
- Pour the finished marinade into a resealable plastic bag. Squeeze out as much air as possible before sealing to ensure maximum contact with the chicken.
- Add chicken to the bag and marinate for 30 minutes up to 8 hours.
- Grill chicken over medium-high heat until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), ensuring a caramelized crust.
