Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • ½ cup (120ml) liquid (milk, almond milk, coconut water, juice)
  • ½ banana (frozen for extra creaminess, optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar (or to taste) (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds (optional)
  • 1 scoop protein powder (whey, soy, or plant-based) (optional)
  • 1 handful spinach or kale (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients into the blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Add more liquid if needed to reach desired consistency.
  3. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or flavor as desired. Add more berries for a stronger berry flavor, or a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
