Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- ½ cup (120ml) liquid (milk, almond milk, coconut water, juice)
- ½ banana (frozen for extra creaminess, optional)
- 1 tablespoon honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar (or to taste) (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds (optional)
- 1 scoop protein powder (whey, soy, or plant-based) (optional)
- 1 handful spinach or kale (optional)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
- Place all ingredients into the blender.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Add more liquid if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or flavor as desired. Add more berries for a stronger berry flavor, or a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
