Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4-5 tablespoons (60-75ml) cold water
  • 1 cup (200g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup (150g) M&M candies, plus extra for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Gradually add cold water, mixing until the dough holds together.
  4. Shape into a disc, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl using 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  7. In a mixing bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  8. Fold in melted chocolate until well combined.
  9. Roll out the chilled pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish.
  10. Pour the chocolate filling into the crust.
  11. Top with M&M candies, pressing gently into the filling.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the filling is set but still gooey in the center.
  13. Cool at room temperature before slicing. Garnish with additional M&Ms if desired.
