  • ½ cup (60g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup (60g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) chopped chives (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set it to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Mashed Potatoes: If not pre-prepared, boil potatoes until tender, then mash until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together mashed potatoes, flour, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cheddar cheese until well combined.
  4. Form Puffs: Using a spoon or cookie scoop, take a small amount of dough and flatten it in your palm. Place a teaspoon of mozzarella cheese in the center and fold the dough over, sealing it well.
