Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp (12g) chia seeds
  • 1 tsp (5ml) maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch (0.5g) fine sea salt
  • 1/2 cup (65g) fresh apple, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp (15g) unsweetened applesauce

Instructions:

  1. In a 16 oz glass mason jar, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Pour in the almond milk and maple syrup. Stir vigorously until the chia seeds are evenly distributed and no dry clumps of cinnamon remain.
  3. Fold in the unsweetened applesauce and gently stir in the diced fresh apples, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid.
  4. Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
