Ingredients:
- 2 oz Bourbon Whiskey
- ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 oz Unfiltered Apple Cider (Cold)
- ½ oz Grade A Dark Maple Syrup
- 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
- Ice for shaking and serving
- Garnish: 1 thin lemon wheel and 2 apple slices (optional)
Instructions:
- Chill glassware: Place your serving glass in the freezer or fill it with ice and water while preparing the drink.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the Bourbon, fresh lemon juice, apple cider, maple syrup, and bitters directly into the cocktail shaker.
- Add Ice & Shake: Fill the shaker two-thirds full with ice. Seal tightly and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the shaker is frosty cold to the touch.
- Prepare Glass: Discard the chilling ice/water from the serving glass and fill it completely with fresh, large ice cubes.
- Strain & Serve: Double strain the cocktail mixture over the fresh ice into the prepared glass.
- Garnish: Thread the apple slices onto a cocktail pick, or rest the lemon wheel on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately.
