Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) carrots, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch thick rounds or sticks
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) chopped fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Peel the carrots and cut them into evenly sized rounds or sticks.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Add the carrots to the bowl and toss well to ensure they are evenly coated with the honey glaze.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the carrots in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary.
- Cook for 10 minutes, then shake the basket to ensure even cooking. Continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and slightly caramelized.
- Remove the carrots from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or chives (if using). Serve immediately. These Air Fryer Carrots are amazing!
