  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) chopped fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Peel the carrots and cut them into evenly sized rounds or sticks.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Add the carrots to the bowl and toss well to ensure they are evenly coated with the honey glaze.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the carrots in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, then shake the basket to ensure even cooking. Continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and slightly caramelized.
