Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread (Sourdough, white, or your favorite sandwich bread)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened (14g)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mixture of your favorite cheeses, about 57g)
- Optional: a light sprinkle of garlic powder, onion powder, or everything bagel seasoning
Instructions:
- Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, on a plate. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the bread. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Carefully place the sandwich into the air fryer basket, ensuring it is not overcrowded.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey. Flip carefully halfway through using a spatula if needed. Keep a close eye; air fryers vary!
- Remove the grilled cheese from the air fryer and let it cool for a minute before slicing and serving. Enjoy immediately!
