Ingredients:
- 1 (24 ounce) jar dill pickle spears, drained
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions:
- Drain the pickle spears well. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- In the first bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. In the second bowl, add the beaten eggs. In the third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each pickle spear into the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Then, dip it into the egg wash, allowing excess to drip off. Finally, dredge it in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Arrange the breaded pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the Air Fryer Fried Pickles from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
