Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Microwave butter for 10-20 seconds until partially melted.
  2. Stir in brown sugar and white sugar until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract for 30 seconds.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips; mix until completely combined.
  5. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to overnight to prevent spreading (optional).
  6. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  7. Using a cookie scoop, place 2-tablespoon balls of dough on the parchment paper (spacing about 1.5 inches apart).
  8. Cook at 325°F (163°C) for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  9. Let cookies rest in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes before transferring.
  10. Continue with remaining dough until all cookies are baked.
