Ingredients:
- 2 large bell peppers (any colour, or a mix), cored and sliced into strips (US: approx. 1 lb, Metric: 450g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (US: 1 Tbsp, Metric: 15ml)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (US: 1 tsp, Metric: 5ml)
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano (US: ½ tsp, Metric: 2.5ml)
- ¼ teaspoon salt (US: ¼ tsp, Metric: 1.25ml)
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper (US: ⅛ tsp, Metric: pinch)
Instructions:
- Wash and dry the bell peppers. Remove the stems, seeds, and membranes. Slice the peppers into strips, roughly ½-inch wide.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced bell peppers, olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Place the seasoned pepper strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the peppers are tender-crisp and slightly charred.
- Remove the air-fried peppers from the basket and serve immediately. Enjoy your Air Fryer Peppers!
