- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approx. 6 oz / 170g each)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt (5g)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper (2.5g)
- ½ teaspoon paprika (2.5g)
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (1.25g)
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (85g)
- 6 cloves garlic, minced (about 2 tablespoons)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (5g)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15ml)
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) (2.5g)
- ¼ teaspoon salt (1.25g)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1.25g)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the baking dish. Pour the garlic butter sauce evenly over the chicken, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to be sure!
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges, if desired.
