Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approx. 6 oz / 170g each)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (5g)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (2.5g)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (2.5g)
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (1.25g)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (85g)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (5g)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15ml)
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) (2.5g)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (1.25g)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1.25g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the baking dish. Pour the garlic butter sauce evenly over the chicken, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to be sure!
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges, if desired.
