Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225 g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) fresh orange zest
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 8 oz (225 g) frozen whipped topping, thawed

Instructions:

  1. Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature and the whipped topping and orange juice concentrate are fully thawed. Place the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Using an electric hand mixer on medium speed, beat the cream cheese until it is completely smooth and lump-free (about 1 minute).
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined. Increase the speed to medium and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy (1–2 minutes). Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  4. Add the thawed orange juice concentrate, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Beat until the flavorings are thoroughly incorporated and the mixture is evenly orange-tinted.
  5. Remove the bowl from the mixer. Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture using a rubber spatula, using a cutting motion to incorporate the topping without deflating the mixture. Stop folding as soon as no streaks of white topping remain.
  6. Transfer the dip to its serving dish or an airtight container. Cover tightly and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes (ideally 1 hour) to allow the flavors to deepen and the dip to achieve a stable, creamy texture.
  7. Just before serving, garnish with an extra pinch of fresh orange zest for color and aroma. Serve chilled with fresh fruit dippers.
